TUCCINI

ORTHODONTIC LAB

At Tuccini Orthodontic Lab, Kitsune Jolene has created a mural that beautifully honors a father and grandfather who was a devoted gardener. Known for his reminder to “shower the people you love with love,” Jolene painted him watering flowers in his garden — a symbol of the care and love he poured into his family.Beside him, a girl carries the same flowers in her front pocket, showing how that love continues to bloom and travel with the ones he cherished most. Hidden throughout the scene are tiny blue jewels, a playful nod to the treasures he once tucked into his garden for his grandchildren to find. This mural is more than art — it’s a living memory of love, family, and legacy. This stunning piece is part of the Paint The Park mural program, proudly funded by the Allen Park DDA and produced by The Mural People.

KITSUNE JOLENE

Large mural of a woman with long hair, in profile, surrounded by pink and red tones, with hummingbirds flying around her on the side of a building.

Kitsune - Jolien De Waele (1992) a Belgian international muralist and painter. Known for dreamy and emotive visual storytelling in a recognizable vibrant palette. She pulls inspiration from the human experience and her own personal exploration through life, which results in paintings overflowing with emotion. She often plays with contrasting intimate softness and bold colours in the public space.

Fell in love with spraypaint, built a sustainable relationship with brushes and wallpaint.

Went to University of Ghent to become an Art Historian, instead decided to drop out of the masters and chase a creative existence herself.

Besides working within her own creative and personal exploration, caring deeply about mental health and our natural world. She loves learning about local legends, stories, folklore, fauna and flora. To then turn this knowledge into murals that neighborhoods can attach themselves to.
